ＤＥＢカテーテルのプロジェクトがＮＥＤＯに採択！

先日ジェノメディアのプロジェクトがＮＥＤOに採択された件を紹介しましたが、今回はアンジェスのプロジェクトがＮＥＤＯの次世代戦略事業に採択されました。

NEDOのイノベーション推進事業の中の「次世代戦略技術実用化開発助成事業」です。

採用になったのは、薬剤溶出型PTAバルーンカテーテルの開発プロジェクトです。

今回は、特にＤＥＢカテーテルの臨床治験の研究開発費用を含めた大きな助成として採択されました。

抗炎症薬剤であるNF-κBデコイをＰＴＡバルーンカテーテルの外表面に塗布することで、透析シャントや動脈硬化症など末梢血管で起き易いバルーン拡張後の再狭窄を予防させる新しいコンセプトの医療機器です。

既に、ウサギ再狭窄動物モデルで有効性を確認しており、今回の助成で大きく実用化に踏み出すことになります。
