ダンベル型(リボン型)NF-κBデコイオリゴの物質特許が成立

昨日アンジェスから新しいプレスがでています。

今度は、ダンベル型デコイの日本での特許成立です。

ダンベル型というようは、リボン型の方が馴染み深いと思いますが、最初特許を出した時点ではダンベル型と呼んでいましたので、タイトルはリボンではありません。でも、実質はリボン型のことです。

ダンベル型とは、鉄アレイのことで、形が似ているので、最初そのように名付けたのですが、どうもデコイの場合は蝶々にょり近いので、リボンに変えました。

リボン型デコイは、第二世代のデコイですが、今度日本で物質特許が成立しました(特許第4255123号)。

何回か、このブログでも取り上げていますが、リボン型になることで、二本鎖デコイの両端が閉じて環状分子構造ので、生体内での安定性が向上します。

その結果、静脈内投与など従来の二本鎖デコイでは困難だった投与経路も考えられ、NF-κBデコイオリゴのより広範な疾患に対する新たな医薬品になります。

他にも、色々な改良があるのですが、まだ特許出願中ですので、成立しましたら、また報告したいと思います。
