抗菌ペプチドへのＮＥＤＯの助成

昨日発表されていますが、独立行政法人新エネルギー・産業技術総合開発機構（NEDO）から抗菌ペプチドによる消毒剤の開発で研究費の助成を受けることになりました。

平成20年度第２次補正「イノベーション推進事業（研究開発型ベンチャー技術開発助成事業）」の研究テーマです。

今回は、以前からアンジェスで研究を進めています抗菌ぺプチドを応用した新規消毒剤の開発プロジェクトです。

目指すは、安全・安心な消毒剤です。

従来の抗生物質は、ご存じのように耐性菌が出現する欠点のため幅広い使用が困難です。

現在では、できるだけ使用しないようにする方向です。

従って、簡便に安全かつ効率的に手術室などの消毒を行う手段が必要となっていました。

抗菌ペプチドの多くは、動植物の表皮・粘膜に抗菌性のバリアーとして存在します。

ですから、人体に対して安全ですし、作用メカニズムから、耐性菌ができにくい事が分かっています。

抗菌ペプチドは、他にも応用可能な分野が多くあり、新しい事業分野として期待できます。
