スーパー特区採用決定

昨日、内閣府からスーパー特区の採用プロジェクトが発表されました。

全部で24プロジェクトで当初予定より、少し増えました。

大阪に関係したプロジェクトは、４件で応募全てが採択されています。下記のプロジェクトです。

今回のスーパー特区は、大学や研究機関などが中心となって行う研究を支援するもので、トランスレーショナル・リサーチを推進する仕組みの一つです。

今回の特区でできた仕組みは、全国に広げて使われることになりますので、規制緩和が行われることを期待しています。

私たちが関係しているのは、医薬基盤研究所や大阪大学でのプロジェクトで、既に動いている知的クラスターなどとも連携して、創薬の加速が期待できます。

先端的循環器系治療機器の開発と臨床応用、製品化に関する横断的・統合的研究　橋本信夫（国立循環器病センター）
免疫先端医薬品開発プロジェクト-先端的抗体医薬品・アジュバントの革新的技術の開発　岸本忠三（大阪大学）
次世代・感染症ワクチン・イノベーションプロジェクト　山西弘一（医薬基盤研究所）

先日あるTV番組で筋ジストロフィーの患者さんが紹介されていました。私はこういう人を見る度に胸が締め付けられる思いがします。私は恵まれた環境で生まれ今までそういった面での苦労を知らずに育ってきまいたので、本当の意味での患者さんの苦しみは到底推し量ることはできません。でも、どうしてもやりきれない思いで心が包まれてしまいます。もしかしたら偽善かもしれません。しかし、この人達の苦しみの１０００分の１かもしれませんが、理解できるつもりでします。先生のような思想の持ち主の方が立ち上げられたバイオベンチャーの価値は私は１０００％肯定します。全体成功して、次なる患者さんを救っていただきたいと切に願います。日本の医療制度、新薬承認制度の不十分な所にも鋭くメスを入れられており、その面でも個人的に感服しているところですが、、ただ、患者さんにとってはやはり薬が出来るまでの時間は長く感じていると思います。どうか今回のような規制緩和を最大限に利用して頂き、天使の由来があるアンジェスＭＧという会社が一日も早く立派な創薬会社になられることを切望します。
