コラテジェン

先ほどのプレス・リリースの中でもう一つ注目していただきたい内容があります。

それは、ＨＧＦの製品名が決まったことです。

その名前は、「コラテジェン」です。

血管新生により側副血行路（”collateral vessels”）を形成し、虚血状態の改善を図る遺伝子治療薬（”gene medicine”）という意味を込めています。

良い名前だと思いませんか？

今後は、ＨＧＦではなく、コラテジェン（ＨＧＦ）という書き方をしていきますので、よろしくお願いいたします。

竜先生、「コラテジェン」は素晴らしいネーミングだと思います。この名前を聞いた時、即座に私は"collateral"と、"Gene"は思い浮かびましたが、側副血行路（”collateral vessels”）という単語は存じ上げませんでした。（医師ではないので。・・・）
いずれにせよ、とてもよい名前で、一度聞いたら忘れられないほどです。
