こわれたおもちゃ

　日本では「役に立たないもの」は嫌われます。たとえば壊れた機械、場所ふさぎで高く売れるあてのない美術品、役に立たない人（病気、障害、極貧……）……
　福祉の現状とか介護保険でのリハビリテーションの扱いを見ていると、ここでも「役立たずは嫌い」が露骨に露出しているように思えます。ただ、厚労省のこういった態度には、もちろん「コスト削減」がベースにあるでしょうが、「世間の（「役に立たないもの」への）冷たさの反映」も大きく作用しているのではないか、と私には思えます。
　だけど、たとえば脳卒中の後遺症を抱えた人をまるでこわれたおもちゃのようにぽいと捨てる態度、自分の親や子どもに見せたいですか？
