新番組「左目探偵EYE」

　私はテレビをほとんど見ませんが、新聞のテレビ欄は読みます。これはおそらく子供時代に「今日は何があるかな」と新聞をまずテレビ欄から読んでいたのが習慣化されて今に残っているからでしょう。
　で今日もそうやって新聞を見ていたら、新番組の紹介があったのでつい読んでしまいました。
「左目探偵EYE」　

 ……えっと……ツッコミの虫がうずうずします。
　角膜移植をしたらその目に「不思議な映像」が見える。これについてはそれほどきついツッコミはしなくて良いでしょう。少し昔のヨーロッパでは「人が死ぬ前に見た最後の映像が眼底に焼き付けられて残っている」ことが大真面目に信じられていましたし（「目が語るもの」でちょこっと触れてます。わざわざ改めて読むほどの大したことは書いていませんが）、それをちょいといじくって「角膜移植後に前の人の視覚記憶が見えるようになった」は手塚治虫の短編（「ブラックジャック」だったかな？）でも読んだ記憶があります。ですから「移植によってそこに“焼き付けられたナニモノカの影”が移植された人の目で見える」は（医学的な整合性はともかく）フィクションとしてはアリとしても良い、と私は判断します。
　「日本には悪の元締めがいる」……これも正義の味方に対するわかりやすい「敵」ということで、まあ良いです。
　私が問題を感じるは「角膜を提供した実の兄が、実は生きていた」です。生きている人の角膜を切り出したんですか？　　うわぁお。皮膚移植じゃないんですから、それは無茶です。ドナーに片目を失わせるのはあまりに犠牲が大きすぎるし、さらに痛い痛いとっても痛い。さらにさらに、切り出された角膜がその本来の持ち主の視覚情報となんらかの形で（リアルタイムに？）つながっているらしいとは……うわぁあぁあぁあ。せっかく「不思議な映像」につっこまないでおいたのにぃ……（もちろん、光情報を神経情報に変換するのは網膜で、それを視覚情報として処理するのは大脳です。角膜はカメラで言えば、レンズのコーティングとかその前のフィルターの部分。フィルターは「見」てませんよね）

　思わず、「一体どうなっているんだ！」とドラマを見たくなってしまったじゃないですか。

　……あ、もしかしたらそれがドラマ制作者のねらいだったりして。アクセス数を増やすために不適切な発言を繰り返してブログを炎上させ、その結果「うししし、アクセス数が増えた増えた」と喜ぶ一部ブロガーのように、「ツッコミを入れようと見る人が集まって、視聴率が上がった上がった、うしししし」と喜ぶため？　　だったら見ないのが正解ですね。あとでどなたか、どんなドラマだったのか教えてくださったら幸いです。とんでもなく素敵にはっちゃけていて、少々の論理的不整合なんかぶっ飛ばすくらい勢いのある番組だったら良いのですが。

弟の混濁しか角膜を、角膜提供者の兄に移植する・・・というのが、一番、現実的でしょうか。

余談ですが、角膜そのものもレンズの役割を果たしているんです。

余談の方に反応します(^_^;)。

そうそう、そうでした。角膜にも強い屈折作用があることを授業で習ったのを今頃思い出しました。となると、角膜のことは「フィルター」ではなくて「組み合わせレンズの一番外側のレンズ」にたとえれば良いことになるのでしょうが……正確ではあるがわかりにくくなっちゃいますね。さて、どうしたものか……
