　食品持ち込み

　病院にはいろいろな人権制限がありますが、その一つが「食べるものの制限」です。好きなものを食べることができるのは人の生得の権利のはずですが、病院では、やれ「糖尿病があるから」やれ「嚥下困難があるから」などと“難癖”をつけて「勝手に食べないでくれ」と患者さんの人権侵害をします。そこで“レジスタンス”が起きます。すごいのは、病棟を脱出して近くで食べてくる。私はこれまで病院近辺の飲食店などでパジャマ姿でうろうろしている人を何回も目撃しました。病院内の売店へ、はもうちょっと穏やかな手段です。ただしこれらは“通報”や“目撃”があるため、つねに成功するとは限りません。“次善の策”は、持ち込みです。見舞客に、病院の食事がいかに不味いか・自分がいかに不当な制限をされているか、を訴えて持ち込んでもらう、あるいは、金を払って買ってきてもらう、という手です。で、無事ブツが入手できたら（制限されているのですから）陰でこっそり大急ぎで詰め込みます。
　おかげで私はこれまでに何回も、窒息しかけた（あるいは窒息して死にかけている）人ののどから、餅やパンや饅頭を掻き出すことになりました。
　「病院の患者管理が悪いからそんな事故が起きるんだ」というご意見もあるでしょう。本人が納得するようにきちんと話をするべきだ、と。だけどねえ、いくら頭でわかっても食欲には勝てないことって、ありません？（だから隠れ食いをしてよい、とも言えませんが）
　どうしても「管理」をするのなら、病院入り口での身体検査と持ち物検査ですかねえ。できたら「食品探知機」の開発を望みます。それと、死角がないように病院中に監視カメラ。「患者管理（監視）」が好きな人はそんな病院へどうぞ。

　そういえば最近ノロウイルスの話題がよくニュースになっています。これも、院内にどこから持ち込まれるのでしょう？　　病院給食だったらわかりやすいのですが、病棟内での弧発例はなにが原因でしょう。病棟への出入りは、患者本人が動かない限り主に職員と出入り業者ですが、見舞客もいますね。もしかしたら上記のような食品持ち込みがその原因の一つになっているのではないか、と私は横目で睨んでいます。

　そういえば、のどから饅頭を掻きだす大騒ぎをしている最中に連絡した家族が来院されて「病院はどうなっているんだ」と強硬に抗議されたことがあります。気持ちはわかりますが「こんな饅頭が出てきました」とけっこう原形を保っているものをお見せしたら突然顔が青ざめて「さっきこっそり差し入れた奴だ」。それからなぜか静かになられましたっけ。
　こんな“正直”な人ばかりだと良い（いや、やっぱり悪い？）のですが、もしもノロウイルスに汚染されている食品を自分で差し入れてそれで入院患者さんがノロウイルス感染症を発症してたとえば亡くなったとしたら、やっぱり「病院の管理責任」を問うて裁判を起こす人は……こんなご時世だからいるのでしょうねえ。
　……やっぱり食品探知機かな。

ぶっはっは、おかだ先生にはすいませんが、饅頭の掻き出しに大笑いです。

更にすいませんが、私も乳がん手術で入院中、体が回復するとともに、お酒がどーしても飲みたくなり、友人にウイスキーボンボンを命令、、、じゃなくて差し入れてもらいました。顔に吹き出物が出るほど食べても、ボンボンじゃ酔っ払わぬことがわかりました。

がん友は抗がん剤治療で白血球が激下がり、無菌室へ入れられました。が、お腹が空いてたまらぬということで、よく売店へ買いにいったそうです。乳がん患者は総じて元気な人が多いので、監視に注意が必要です。

糖尿病で食事制限のある患者さんが、隣の認知症患者さんのエンシュアを盗み飲みして太ってしまい、家族が医者に、入院しているのにどーして太るんだと文句たれた、と、akagama先生のブログにありました。ツワモノですな。

　健康上不必要な食事制限はなしで酒も飲める病院があっても良いんじゃないか、なんて思っていますが、今の健康保険では難しいかなあ。
