　反省と後悔

　通り魔事件などで腹の立つ主張を犯人がよくやります。「むしゃくしゃしたからやった。殺すのは誰でもよかった。反省も後悔もしていない」てな感じのもの。
　……いや、ほんまに腹が立ちます。「そんなに人を殺したいんだったら、自分を殺せ」と言いたくなる。言っても仕方ありませんが。
　まあ、逮捕されてもう二度と娑婆に出てこなければ、少なくとも無辜の民を殺して回ることはこれ以上はない（そいつに関しては再発が予防できる）ことがせめてもの慰めではありますが。


　大野病院事件で検察は控訴を断念しましたが、その理由は「自分たちは正しいんだけど、裁判所の頭が固いからあきらめた」（記事の原文中の発言「裁判所の判断を覆すのは困難と判断した」をおかだが翻訳しました）。

つまり、検察は反省も後悔もしていないわけで、“次の機会”があれば“誰でもよい”から同じことをする可能性が残っているわけです。
　……こちらの再発防止のためには、なにか良い知恵はありませんか？
