飲食品業界の裏話　不快な広告編

郵便ポストにレストランの広告が入っていた。

毎週○曜日はレディースデー
ランチセット1000円→800円

と書いてあった。

こういうのは男女平等に反すると思う。
男性はもちろん、女性だって安いのでいいと思いながらも鈍感単純細胞な女性を除けば内心はよい思いはしないだろう。

こういう客寄せをする店は、
三流危険店として決して行かないようにしている。
本当においしい店なら、そんな姑息なことをしなくても流行ります。

飲食業界と広告には深いかかわりがあります。
例えば、某旅行雑誌に載っている飲食店なのにおいしくなかったってことがあるでしょう。あれは店のほうが広告料払って載せてもらっているのです。

本当においしい店はそういうものに載っていないことも多いです。むしろ流行りすぎていちいち広告料払ってまで広告を載せる必要がない店があります。そういう店こそが隠れた名店なのです。
