How-do-you-do Agent―
日曜日は、週で一番大好きな日。
だから、台無しにされたくないの。
ゆっくり休んでいたいんです。わたし。
地域ネコにエサをあげたり、
コンビニにつながれた飼い犬にいたずらしたり、
東京の下街の写真を撮ったり、
公園のそばの喫茶店で日記を書いたり。。。
なのに、いったいなんですか。わたしのお部屋。
この年賀状の山。。。
「今年もどうぞよろしく。」とか、
「いつかまたどこかでお会いしましょう」な～んて、
心にもないくせに。
人生がな～んか薄っぺらになってきません？
ちょっと空しくない？
あー。いけない。
頭が変！になりそう。わたし。
「書かなくていい」という当たり前の正直なこころと、
「書いてあげてもいいかも」という手慣れた優しい理性が、わたしの中でケンカするんです。
今年も書こうとするから、いつもこーゆーことになるんです。
代わりに年賀状を書いてくれる挨拶代行業って、ないかしらん。

How-do-you-do Agent―
Sunday is my most favorite day of the week.
So I don't want to get it spoiled.
I really want to enjoy the time off,
feeding neighbor’s cats,
playing with a dog tied at a convenience store,
taking pictures of downtown Tokyo,
sitting in a café near the park writing diary.
But what’s going on here in my room?!
A pile of New Year’s cards…
Little do I think that I would look forward to a good relationship in the New Year, or seeing you if given the opportunity.
Does life seem somewhat flimsy?
Does it seem empty somehow?
Oh, no. I am going crazy.
My original simple feeling that I don’t need to say a lie and my other sophisticated tender mind that I might as well say a lie, two different sides of myself quarrel.
This is always what happens when I try to send the New Year’s cards this year.
Do you know any how-do-you-do agent that writes the New Year’s cards for me?
