天気予報によりますと、ここ二週間続いた寒さはようやく底をつき春が来たといっていますが、なんか変。地球の歯車が狂い始めているみたい。そう思いません? このところ世界各地で大きな地震があったり、火山が噴火したりして心が痛みます。
牛丼の値下げがいつ始まったなんて誰が気に留めることでしょう。
この牛丼値下げキャンペーンは新しい世代の需要を掘り起こすはずでした。外食産業は、長きにわたって、着実な成長と拡大を謳歌してきましたが、ここにきて不況のドン詰まりにブチ当たっています。
一つの老舗の独自値下げキャンペーンは、2つのチェーン店の統一値下げに追随され、老舗ナンバーワンにとっては空振りだったかもしれません。しかし、二つの会社はいったいどうしたことでしょう。泥沼に向かってデッドヒートを続けています。
牛丼は若い二つの会社にとって、多彩なメニューの中の一品ですが、老舗にとっては主力メニューです。最小限の損失で早く切り上げるのが賢明です。彼らは犬猿の仲のようです。積年の敵の自滅を目論んで、自分の店の単品を値下げしても無駄です。度を越してはいけません。
この不景気、たまには価格競争もやむをえませんが、冷静になりましょう。丼は投げる球じゃありません。
ここはひとつ仲直りしたらどうでしょう？そして、牛丼祭りでも一緒にやるといいんです。牛丼を忘れた世代、知らない若者のために。とにもかくにも、牛丼は昔ながらの日本料理ですもの♡

- YOU CAN’T BOWL A BEEF BOWL! –
Forecasters say a persistent succession of cold weather for two weeks has gone finally and spring is here. That’s funny. Something wrong is coming up in the globe. You know what I mean.
It has hurt us recently to see catastrophes like earthquakes or smoking volcanos in various parts of the world.
Who cares when the discount sales of a bowl of beef (Gyudon) began?
This campaign of beef bowl discount could have stimulated demand in new generations. Although the first- food industry has enjoyed a steady growth and expansion over long periods, it recently hit the wall of economic slowdown.
The go-it-alone discount campaign of the old company was immediately followed by unified price reduction of two first food chain companies. The old number one seems to have missed the ball.
But, what is it with those two companies without finishing a close race that is destined to stick in the mud?
Gyudon is one of the multi-menu items for two young companies whereas it’s the main menu for the old company. It’s reasonable to get off early with a minimum loss. They’ve been like conventional enemies. It’s no use discounting a single menu of their own with the view to make the old enemy blow up. Let’s not get carried away.
Price wars are occasionally allowed to take place in recent hard time. But, cool it. A bowl is not a ball to bowl.
Friends again! Why don’t you put together a show of bowls? For the people who forgot about it. For the youngsters who have never tried?
Any way you go about it, Gyudon is one of the traditional Japanese cuisine.
