楽しい幸せなペットとの生活は永遠には続きません。

いつか、それを失うことで必ず終わりがきます。

それが、ペットロス。

 　

あなたの平均寿命、いくつか知ってる？

ぜったいバラしちゃだめよ。

そうね。人間の四分の一しかないの。

あるいは、それよりもっと短いの。

わたしが話しかけると、あなたがいつも

しっぽを振る意味がわかったわ。

with a pet will not last forever.

　 

Some day or other

it inevitably comes to an end

by losing him,

say, pet loss.

　 

Can you tell

what your average life span is?

　 

Do you promise

you won’t let the cat

out of the bag?

　 

Mark my words:

it’s only a quarter of human’s life, 

or maybe less.
