　一握りの死と医療

　 　

地球上にはいろいろな不幸があります。

そして、いろいろな病気があります。

みんな一所懸命生きています。

 　

インフルエンザで亡くなる人もいます。

亡くなるのはインフルエンザだけでは確かにありません。

毎日、他の病気や交通事故、紛争や事故

不条理な不幸な死もあります。

生まれている命と同じくらい、毎日亡くなっています。

 　

インフルエンザで実際に死亡したのは世界の人口の中のほんの一握りです。

何億人の中で、死んだのはたったひとりの国もあります。

 　

大騒ぎしても完全には防げません。

冷静になれ、とよく言います。

「もっとたくさん戦争で死んでいる。大したことない。」

と、いう人がいます。

 　

医療は多くの人々のためにありますが、

数少ない人々のためでもあるのかもしれません。
