Koutroubakis IE et al. Antibodies against cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP) in inflammatory bowel disease patients with or without arthritic manifestations.

Koutroubakisらはクローン病110例、潰瘍性大腸炎112例を対象に抗CCP抗体を測定し、ともに陽性率は1.8％であった。関節症状を有するのは37例であったが、抗CCP抗体は1例でのみ陽性であった (2.7%)。
乾癬性関節炎では抗CCP抗体は7-15％と言われているが。炎症性腸疾患に伴う関節炎に抗CCP抗体は関与しないと考えられる。

・対象：505例の早期RA（平均罹病期間6.3ヶ月）；コントロール：970例
・PTPN22の1858T アリルはRA群で18.0%、コントロールで11%、オッズ比は1.79（1.40-2.29）：CT/TTのオッズ比は1.79。ホモの症例数は少ないが、一応gene dosage効果あり。しかし、PTPN22のRA発症への関与はRA自己抗体陽性患者でのみ認められ、自己抗体（−）患者ではPTPN22の関与は認められなかった。
・抗CCP抗体、PTPN22多型に関係なく、喫煙はRA発症リスクを増大させた。

Chauhan A et al. Multicentric reticulohistiocytosis with positive anticyclic citrullinated antibodies. J Natl Med Assoc. 2007 Jun;99(6):678-80（米国）.
病理組織検査を含めmulticentric reticulohistiocytosisと診断されたが、抗CCP抗体陽性であった症例のレポート。citrullone-dependencyは不明。
ポーランドのMajewskiらは、Ann Acad Med Stetin. 2006;52 Suppl 2:45-8で、関節炎を有する肺線維症を伴うPMで抗CCP抗体が陽性であった１症例を報告しているが、オーバーラップと考えている。
