141例のRAと150例のコントロールを対象にHLA-DRのタイピングと抗CCP抗体測定が行われた。その結果、HLA-DRB1*04 とHLA-DRB1*10 はRAと相関していた。また抗CCP抗体もHLA-DRB1*04/10と関連していた。HLA-DR shared epitopeと抗CCP抗体産生の相関をコンファームしている論文である。
