Arthritis Rheum. 2006;54:2353–2355[editorial]においてもSalmonは、将来的にはcome to terms with TNF inhibition in pregnancyになるように国際的な共同研究が必要と記しているが、現時点では、計画妊娠の際にはTNFα阻害薬の中止が勧められると記載している。

Rheumatology 2007 46(4):695-698と同様に、エンブレル妊娠の総説として有用であるが、この中で"From an ongoing prospective controlled study of RA medications in pregnancy being conducted by the North American Organization of Teratology Information Specialists(32例報告：Dermatology 2005, 152:205)"が紹介されている。
追記
MTXは、planned pregnancyの３ヶ月前に中止（Arthritis Res Ther. 2006; 8(3): 209; 日本医学会雑誌H18.2月別冊では男性は6-12ヶ月休薬と記載されている）。
