BeSt study２年間のフォローアップの報告
・ Trimonthly treatment adjustmentsを行う状況下において、既存の抗リウマチ薬は併用療法（レミケードを含む）と同程度に、早期関節リウマチ（発症２年以内）の活動性をよくコントロールできる（低疾患活動性8割・寛解状態４割）。
・ 早期関節リウマチにおいて、併用療法を最初から行うことでInitial use of combination therapies: earlier clinical improvement and リウマトイド滑膜炎はより早く沈静化され、関節破壊の程度も軽くなるless progression of joint damage（2.0 vs 1.0）。
・最初からレミケードを用いた併用療法を行っても、２年後には半数でレミケードをやめることが可能であった。

血清学的およびcellular immunologyレベルでの検討により、RAにおける抗シトルリン化ペプチド抗体の主な産生部位は関節局所であることをRodríguez-Bayonらは報告している。
