・body shopって、化粧品屋さんの固有名詞かと思っていたら、ジーニアス英和大辞典では、最初に「車体工場、買収宿、人員供給会社」という意味でした。二番目に、大文字だと《商標》ボディショップ《環境にやさしいとされる化粧品などを販売するチェーン店》とありました。それは、さておき、次のような記事がありました。

・ＷＨＯの2010年7月Fact sheetsにAsbestos: elimination of asbestos-related diseasesというのがありました↓
この中に、All forms of asbestos are carcinogenic to humans, and may cause mesothelioma and cancer of the lung, larynx and ovary. と書いてありますが、喉頭癌、卵巣癌については、どの程度のコンセンサスがあるのでしょうか？
ＩＡＲＣのモノグラフにも、喉頭癌、卵巣癌の記載はありますが、関係ありという論文と無いという論文両方書かれています。以下に関係する部分を貼り付けときますが、これ読んでいると、関係ある可能性が高いのじゃないかなと思うのですが。
Laryngeal cancer has been considered in two case-control studies, resulting in risk ratios
of 2.4 and 2.3 that relate to shipyard work and unspecified exposure, respectively. A
cohort study of insulation workers showed a relative risk of 1 .9, based on ni ne cases. A case series indicated a high frequency of exposure to asbestos, especially in low-grade smokers.
A risk ratio of 3.2 for laryngeal cancer was reported among chrysotile miners in an area with
generally high incidenceo, but no increased risk was seen in a cohort of workers with
exposure to crocidolite. Two correlation studies have also indicated a relationship
between laryngeal cancer and exposure to asbestos.
Sorne excess of ovarian cancer has been reported in two studies but not in another; exposure to crocidolite was probably more predominant in the studies that
showed excesses.

・今日は忙しかった。早朝回診して、全外来して、午後からＮＩＰＰＶの学習会して、病棟のカンファレンスして、その合間に回診。で、17時15分に病院でて、新倉敷駅近くのHAKUJUJIで、ケーキ買って帰りました。（∵ 本日は、配偶者のんん十九回目の誕生日。） ケーキを買ったことを隠そうとひそかに冷蔵庫にケーキを入れたのですが、配偶者は、目ざとく私の行動をキャッチ、また、ビール一杯買ってきたんと、冷蔵庫をチェック。すぐ、ケーキ買ったことがばれました。まあ、いいけどね。現在次女がさっき、帰ってきて、三女は塾で21時ころ帰宅予定。それから、ハッピ・バースデーです。今日は、早く寝るぞっ！明日は、5時起きじゃっ!
