・必要な情報をどう得るか、それをどう評価するか、そしてどう利用するかというのが、現代の医師に求められている能力の一つだと思います。（医師のみでなく、すべての専門家と言われている人に必要なものだと思います）
・ついでに：何が分かっていて、何が分かっていないかが明確に分かっている人、それが専門家。また、専門的な情報を、非専門の人に分かりやすく説明できる能力が、専門家という人に求められていると思います。
・ただ、必要な情報を得るということ一つも大変なことです。どういう方法で、必要な情報を得ることができるかということを知っているのも専門家の能力でしょう。話が、だんだんややこしくなりました。本日の話題は、職業性・環境性疾患を起こすような物質の調べ方。私が、よく使うのが、ＴＯＸＮＥＴです。それ以外に有害物質の情報を得ることができるのが、このブログの表題の、ＡＴＳＤＲのwebsiteです。ＡＴＳＤＲって、何じゃいと言う人は、このサイトを見てください。ここの、Toxic Substances Portalというところに、アルファベット順に有害物質の説明が載っております。たとえば、イスラエルがガザで用いた、白燐については、以下のような説明があります。
