マイ手帳大賞No.４：事務長、こんな高齢者ひとり救えないならにほんの未来なんかありませんよ！

・昨日、熊本県にある、くわみず病院という事務長さんの講演を聴きました。「ホームレス実態調査に取り組んで」という演題です。演者は、ボランティアで、ホームレス支援に取り組んでいる方です。標題の言葉は、以下のような事例に遭遇した青年司法書士が発した言葉だそうです。（以下、講演のレジュメから）

・大正９年生まれ。８５歳女性。既往歴：糖尿病、慢性腎不全、パーキンソン症候群。息子と二人暮らしであったが、息子は「クレサラ」で借金。息子は母の年金を返済にあてていたが、返済のめどがたたずひとり失踪。それ以降、母は一人くらし。０６年２月、自宅で転倒し顔面打撲。クレサラの処理を依頼（町社協より）されていた司法書士が発見し、当院受診。・・・その後、その女性は、クレサラ整理、生活保護受給。養護施設入所し、現在に至る。

・この事例は、ホームレスではありませんが、生活困窮例というものです。ホームレス支援で知り合った青年司法書士が、病院に「持ち込んだ」事例ということです。一つの活動から、ネットワークが広がっているんだなという感じです。それにしても、この青年司法書士の思いが熱い。

・当院でも、さまざまな生活困窮例を経験します。当然、自業自得と思われる事例もありますが、行政の「貧困」と感じる事例もあります。（逆に行政が努力しても、成果があがらない事例もありますが）思うのは、「未来ある」日本にしたいということ。卑近な例ですが、自分の娘たちが、まじめに働けば、安心して、生きがいを持て、普通に生きていける日本にしたいものです。

こう書くのは、そうなっていないという現状認識です。いや、今の日本すばらしい、努力したら報われる、勝ち組、負け組みがあるのは、努力の差だという現状認識のひともいるでしょう。しかし、私は、容易に「反例」をあげることができます。

かつては親をなんとか面倒をみることのできる経済力のある子ども世代が比較的多かった（実際面倒をみたかどうかは別として）この国で、最近はこども世代の若い人たち自身がワーキングプア、ネットカフェ難民として苦しみ、借金苦に陥り、それを高齢の親に押し付けるという事例があとを絶ちません。崩壊しつつある医療、振興国に置き去りにされる経済産業構造政策と並んでこの国の根幹を揺るがす大問題だと思っていますが、選挙のときにこういう問題についてきちんと言及し政策を論じる政治家（大政党の）がほとんどいないのがもっと大きな問題ではないかと思います。
