戦争による外傷→形成外科の発展？？？

・多くの日本人にとって戦争というものはＴＶやビデオＯの中の出来事でしょう。かつ、多くのマスコミは、その悲惨さを報道していません。ですから、戦争のむごさというものがイメージできず、あの湾岸戦争のようにゲームのように感じてしまうのではないでしょうか？

・すこしでも戦争の悲惨さを実感するためには、「語り部」から話をきくことと、じっさいの「画像」をみることでしょう。その一つの「教材」になるのかな，と思い以下ご紹介です． 

・ 英国の’National Army Museumというところで 〈PROJECT FACADE〉という「企画展」が行われているようです。どのような意図で、この展示が行われているのか、私にはよく分かりませんが、このwebsiteで、戦争で傷を負った人のケースリポートとその画像をみることができます。とてもヒドイ傷と、その「修復｣後の顔を見ることができますが、かなり悲惨です。気の弱いかたは、見ないほうがよいでしょう...しかし、戦争になると、こういう傷をおう人が多くでてくるのです。逆にそういう傷への対応で，形成外科が発展してきたのかなとも思いますが．．．
