・私、お酒は弱いくせに、好きです。ビールも地ビールが良い。岡山なら独歩というのが好きですが、あまり売っているお店がありません。
・飲み屋さんで生ビールを頼むと綺麗に泡がたったビールが運ばれてきますね。あれって、どうしてああいう泡が立つのでしょう？
・昔は、ビールの泡を綺麗に立てるためにコバルトをビールに混ぜていたのですね。そのおかげで、心筋症が多数発生したそうです。以下、私の持っている古い心臓病の教科書の記述です。

COBALT CARDIOMYOPATHY
A previously unrecognized syndrome of severe congestive heart failure appeared in the mid 1960s, first in Canada and subsequently in the United States and Europe. The disease was found in people who drank a particular brand of beer to which cobalt sulfate had been added as a foam stabilizer. Since cobalt was removed from the process, no more cases of the disease have been reported. On very rare occasions occupational exposure to cobalt may result in myocardial damage and attendant congestive heart failure.
・赤字のところ、非常に稀に職業曝露で、心筋障害が起こる可能性があるとかかれています。"Environmental and Occupational Medicine FORTH EDITION"には以下のような記述がありました。
For most patients with cardiomyopathy, the etiology of their heart problem is considered idiopathic, and it is not clear if the relatively few cases of work-related cobalt cardiomyopathy recognized are secondary to an infrequent occurence or to the lack of attention by the treating physician to an exposre history.
・心筋症をみたら、金属曝露も聴きましょう。
医中誌でコバルト×心筋で検索したら、ステントの論文が多かったです。
